Hi Randy,
I'm still planning on making the trip. Have a bunch of stuff to check
over on the '69 (the u-joint and carrier bearing have 73k on them) and a
few modifications to make (turn signals!), but I'll be there if at all
possible. Made reservations in the lodge at Palmer Gulch already, but
haven't pre-registered - that might jinx things. Now if my employer will
just let me out of my cage for two weeks...
Still thinking about what route to take out, leaning towards the old
Lincoln Highway right now.

Sometime before then I should finish the Falcone and get a good start on
the BMW /2 with /6 engine and trans. for a customer. Then there's the
stalled '71 Ambo restoration, getting the Bertone to run, the Audi 90
head gasket and radiator, the Mercedes bodywork and paint,
andonandonandonandon....
Too soon the snow removal chore will turn to the grass mowing chore, but
at least we won't have to wear four layers to do it! Cheers,

Charlie

Nothing like having all kinds of things to finish. Get my 700 on the
road for the firsttime in about 14-15 years. (this list is good for
something, a kick in the pants) to meet all of you in the Black Hills.
Finish restoring the R90/6, redo the wifes shovelhead, and as of last
night, a timing belt in my son's Neon.
All this plus beer, snow removal, beer, ski trip (20 anny), beer and
whiskey. Time to go, the beers knocking at the door. later

Nope. but close enough to think about things like registration and
insurance. Also

I feel like I have 3 kids - triumph engine rebuild (not sure which is
more relaxing in front of the tv - soldering up guzzi wires or
wetsanding triumph connecting rods) never ending guzzi project and a
jeep (wasn't supposed to be a project) that got power steering, tie
rods, ball joints and shocks among other things this winter.

Blah blah blah,

Chris
