Hi Tom,
I wear one of my many Guzzi shirts to work quite often and get lots of
"do they still makes those?", "what's a Moto Guzzi" (usually pronounced
"motor guzzy" - rhymes with scuzzy), or "that was kinda' like a BMW,
right?". But occasionally a trucker will pull up and exclaim "wow, we
can have a rally now - there's two of us within a 20 mile radius!" Most
of these guys have new (or at least late model) Guzzis and look at me
like I'm an alien when they find out all of my Guzzis are pre-'74.
Pretty funny! Cheers,
Charlie

I was standing in the checkout line at a grociery store last night when the guy behind me notices the Guzzi patch on the back of my jacket. On thier old police bikes! My dad was a motorcycle instructor for the police dept. back in the 70's, and I remember those old bikes!" "Well, I'm restoring an old police bike right now, and it doesn't have reverse". I told him. "Maybe your thinking of the automatics" I says. "Oh, yeah. Maybe that's what I'm thinking.
