So I guess I will have to pass you the chicken then. :) The Homeplace
was highly recommended.

Ron,
Here are a few that was recommended to me.
Sunnybrook Inn Restaurant
7342 Plantation Rd, Roanoke 24019 540-366-4555
Description: Home-style regional favorites are the specialty here.
Friday is
marked by a stellar prime rib buffet, while Saturday features a crab leg
buffet.
Paul -
Prime rib? Crab legs? These are Moto Guzzi riders you're talking about
here. It's more likely we'll be sneaking pieces of chicken to
non-paying mates from the buffet, while we talk about how to make our
own O-rings to save 6 cents.....
Ron, sounds like a great idea. We had a Brit-bike gathering where
people rode in to Roanoke from Wilkesboro NC, Bluefield WV etc one
Saturday and we had lunch at a Macadoo's on Rt 419 between Roanoke and
Salem. I would NOT recommend that particular spot, as the traffic is
mean and most restaurants crowded there near the mall.
Actually, a couple of the places Paul mentions are out in the country a
bit, and would probably make a nice meeting place.....I'm up for
anything.
