Hey all,
Yeah, yeah, Dropped off the face of the earth for a while, well ok, you guys
haven't had very interesting posts lately :-}. Anyways, This here is a good
idea from Todd and Roberto(hey man).I went across the good ol US a long time
ago. Had limited $$, so my riding buddy and I went about it the cheap way;
sleeping on the side of the road next to the bikes. I still ended up in debt
due to the fact that it was the most rain, snow, sleet and fog I have ever
ridden through. Sometimes we HAD to spring for a hotel. In Washington St.
this couple pulled up next to us in a VW bug and offered up a place to stay.
It was one of the best nights we had out of that trip. Plus they both rode
loops!
So, Our home will be open to any who need a place, I am right off 75, JUST
north of Detroit. 2 extra rooms, plus floor space. Might be out of the way
for most, but the offer is there.
Kev

Todd, that is very nice for you to offer a place for Loopers in the way to
the National next year. Maybe we could all place a message offering open
houses for Loopers at that time in route to the National. It might be an
interesting Idea. I would be glad to do it. I plan to ride my Eldo or pull
it behind the VW Camper if the wife comes with me.

Welcome aboard Paul.....you will really enjoy the newsletter. Frank Wedge does a really good job with it as do the contributing columnists..... Now that you are a member, are you going to the Nationals in the Black |
this summer? If so, (and this is an open invitation to all loopframers) I have a farm outside of Chippewa Falls WI, right off of I 94. If anyone needs a place |
put up a tent they are welcome. There is no running water and just an outhouse, but good cover for bikes and gear. Loopers can email me off |
for more info......... All the Best, Todd Nordwig 73 Eldorado 71 Ambo MGNOC # 18539
