Hi Jeffrey,
Seems someone on the MGCL has compiled a list of "Guzzis in Movies", but
I can't remember who. I know of two - the Disney movie "Escape From
Witch Mountain" and the Burt Reynolds movie "Hooper". Not the same
amount of Loop Footage as Magnum Force though.
I thought the bike they flew off the carrier (pier?) in Magnum Force was
just a Triumph dressed to look like a SFPD Loop, not a Triumph engine in
a Loop frame (difficult to do). Made me cringe when Harry headed-on
collided with a real Loop. What a terrible thing to do to a Loop! Glad
they dunked a Triumph! Cheers,
Charlie

Anyone out there ever put together a list of movies that have loops or other Guzzis in them? I like seeing loops on the big screen. Here are a couple movies that I know of that have loops: -Harold and Maude (Great movie) -Magnum Force (Dirty Harry flick in which that actually put a Triumph engine in a loop frame for one of the scenes so that they can build suspense by showing Harry kick start the bike) Any others???
