I got my first taste of a "real" streetbike (non Jap 4 stroke) from my demo
650 Tornado when I was a Benelli rep. After resigning from Benelli & moving
to the country, I decided I wanted a "big" street bike. (I was buzzing
around on a Benelli 250 supersport w/a seriously hotrodded motor) I would
have bought a Benelli 650, Laverda twin or triple, Ducati, or Guzzi. In 1979
I was on a company trip to Pittsburgh & saw an ad for an Ambassador in the
Post-gazette. I ended up buying the bike & becoming a Guziesti for life. I
bought my Eldo Police at Buck Bush's rally in 1990.
