Scott - I just had my bushings replaced. They were so worn that the bike
wouldn't shift due to the excessive amount of play. I couldn't find the
correct Guzzi pieces, so I went to a local hardware store and found
brass bushings that were the correct outer diameter, just a little tight
in the inner diameter and too long. Remember these are oddball metric
sizes so the chances of finding the exact fit on all diameters is slim.
I took them to a local michine shop and they cut them to the correct
length, machined the i.d. to the correct size and pressed them in. They
also had to drill a small hole for the grease to get through. Total cost
was $65 for the labor and the bike shifts great now.

Hi Scott,
According to the parts manual, there's a bushing for the shift lever
(part no. 9111 1520) but not for the brake lever. MG Cycle has two
different bushings in their online catalog - part nos. 1725 2050
(doesn't specify model) and 1825 2050 (Cal II, etc.), $1.00 ea. and
$1.30 ea. respectively. Don't know if either will work.

Probably easily made as well or you might find something that will work
at a good hardware store. Do you have "Guzziology"? Might be something
in there on the subject - if you don't I can have a look see. Cheers,

Charlie
