I've got one of these on my '72 LAPD project as well. I looks good and
was under $10 at my local auto parts store. Also, for LAPD wannabe's
like myself, I just found some turn signals that may look pretty good on
a cop bike. I was out in Yucca, AZ over the past few days doing some
last minute testing at the Ford test track and got bored so I was poking
around at a Pilot truck stop and stumbled across these signals that are
made by a company called RoadPro. They come in a variety of shapes and
sizes, but the ones that I liked had 4" lenses and the bodies of the
signals were pretty chrome. They had one-sided signals in both the
orange and red variety, as well as a pretty cool double-faced signal
that had an orange lens on one side and a red lens on the other. Best
of all is that they are only $14.99 each.
Here are the part numbers:
Double-faced: RP-3802
Single-faced: RP-3704
I didn't buy them out there because I didn't want to carry them in my
suitcase back to Detroit, but I looked online and I think that they are
pretty easy to find locally. I plan on buying some soon and I will let
you know how they work out.

I found a PM brand round tailight at Wal-Mart that fits a CEV bracket perfecly. It is a universal stop tail and tag light. I put one on my '74 LAPD. Greg |
