Mike , there is a guy in cinncinnati that rode the convert for years and
love them...really believe in the reliability and always told me how strong
they were. If i think of his name I will pass it on to you. I always saw him
at the Ohio rally every year.

Congratulations on the ifx, Ian. I was feeling for you. Is there anyone on the list that would like to write to me off-list regarding Converts? There is one for sale not far from me. I don't need another bike, but I am tempted - the price is $1275. I know what Guzziology and Moto Guzzi Big Twins say about the converts, but have never ridden one. I was thinking that perhaps I could use this as a first bike for my wife and son: I though the automatic tranny would make learning simpler for them. I also had in mind using it to haul my sidecar.
