Speaking of scheduling conflicts...
I've heard that the Italian Falcone owners are planning to come to the
USA in 2004 and tour the East Coast this time round. Anyone (Pat?) know
any more about when and where? I'd like to borrow the Falcone I've been
working on from it's owner and join them for a while. It will probably
be at the same time as the National and I'll have to choose one or the
other.
I know what you mean Tom - there will be no way to attend everything I'd
like to in 2004. Two weeks vacation only goes so far but I managed to do
a lot in 2003. If we were rich would we still own and work on our
beloved Loops? Seems Loops especially and Guzzis in general are a
working man's bike, not toys of the rich and/or famous. Cheers,
Charlie

I just looked at the calander and there may not be any way(except quitting and findidng another job)for me to get this time off.. I wish I was rich instead of good looking, then I wouldn't have to work and could make all the rallies!!! I had to miss this years national becouse it fell in the same week we do most of the BIG maintenance jobs. I'll find some way to get together with you guys to ride and to party!!!!!!!!! Sad news. A guy crashed his Eldo pretty bad at the San Diego rally last weekend. He is o.k., and the bike is at Moto Guzzi Classics getting repaired by Mark! |
