This may be blasphemy for you, but you can also use the same starter
from any of the lemans, or 850T or T3s and probably others that have
the solenoid on top as opposed to the bottom, but you do have to cut a
notch in your battery tray about 1 " square where the solenoid hits it-

Steven, if you are trying to find a replacement from a dealer of
non-guzzi specific parts you are going to have a hard time with the old
bosch part numbers- well, at least I had a hard time. Your best bet I
have found is actually to bring it to someone to have it rebuilt. Don't
know where you are, but I have a very good source in San Francisco if
that works for you let me know (if in fact you are looking for a
starter!)
