I was at the local Auto store looking for transmission oil and found my
usual Castrol 90 wt. gear oil. Next to it was a bottle of Kendall
90-185. Hmmm...
I asked the owner if there was anything heavier than the Kendall. He
gave me a funny look, reached behind the counter and produced a bottle
of Lucas "Heavy Duty Oil Stabilizer"

I used my handy ratio-right measuring cup to mix the Lucas with the
Kendall and pour it with a helping of Moly into my 5-speed.
I only put in 150cc of the Lucas, 650 cc total. It seems to shift
smoother with less of a clunk from second down to first. Next time I
might be brave and put in more of the Lucas.
As Mick Jones of the Clash and BAD says:
"If you are bald it will give you hair
If you've got straight trousers it will give you flares
Nowadays it's used medicinally
To cure all known maladys"
