so, my 71 ambassador with a marelli starter just died - i think..
here's the what i've tested
starter just clicks...
i took starter switch apart and jumpered start wires, same click.
ran new ground from battery to starter
battery fully charged
bypass starter switch, jumper starter, still just clicks
remove starter, press starter - the starter drive gear comes up, but no spin.
is there anything else i can do without buying a new one, or getting this one rebuilt?
