Subject: Redundant question on coils

Hey All,

I'm getting the White Eldo back together and I discovered that the coil on
the bike was one that did not have an internal resistor. Can anyone tell me
the significance of this?

Also can someone give me the Bosch model number or what year/model of VW
this coil goes on.
