I was reading the Chiltons manual last night (I truly have no life), and
it mentioned that 'in an emergency, you could use VW pistons and sleeves
for a short time, though this is not recommended by the Moto Guzzi
factory'. Something like that anyhow.
If I recall, this is a 750cc racer? Can you use 1 L jugs? Probably
not, but they'd be a lot easier to find.
