Greetings Helge, The hole is just a drain hole- doesn't do anything else. Mike is right- determine whether its engine oil or gear oil. If engine oil, it might be the rear main seal, the oil return line, or a plug (not really a freeze plug, but thats what it reminds me of) that's hammered in the back of the case. If gear oil, then it's either the front seal on the inner body, or more likely, just the cone washers on the clutch pushrod. The latter is a much easier fix. Guzziology (you can order that online- totally worth the money) mentions using o-rings instead of the cone washers. Teo Lamers might sell some version as a fix. But if its really a small leak, you may be better off waiting until you need to do more serious maintainence before opening the cases up. It's a judgement call. Cheers, Jason |
