me, i bought a cable lube kit [aerostich has 'em]. nifty little gadget
clamps onto the cable- aerosol lube tube goes into the luber thing and
squirt away! goes all over your hand, the bars, tank, etc., but down the
cable as well. :>/

Subject: oiling brake/clutch cables

So I'm dripping oil down the brake cable on the Eldo- same as I've
always done it. It's messy, it's hard to get the oil to go down into
the hole, yadda, yadda, yadda. I think 'there's got to be a better way'
so I'm soliciting advice. Any advice? My technique is brute force and
ignorance. I don't really recommend it.
I was thinking that maybe I could get some tubing and zip tie one end
onto the end of the cable, and the other onto an oil (like WD40) spray
nozzle, then pressure-feed oil into the housing.

What do ya'll do?
Jason
