I built a Frankenstein out of an 85 wrecked in 1987 with 1100 miles and
an ex-race 84 that the DPO removed the head from and let sit in the
yard. Got the package basically for free for doing some work for a
friend.
So far I love it..pia to work on the carbs, but what a sweet little
motor. Those 1984 tires were pretty hard though! New BT45s made an
amazing improvement.
I have a lot of leftovers if you end up with one.

Fred -you mentioned a miniceptor- did you acquire a vf500f? If so, how do you like it? I will probably be buying one as an el cheapo (biks is not in the greatest of shape) means of transportaion while the goose gets done and the triumph....well the triumph continues to get torn down and built back up. The flat track races are on Friday starting about that time. I'll be there, loop-less, on my new (to me) miniceptor. Kevin Graf wrote:
