Oooh, I never did like that chain action throttle. I replaced mine with
a twin cable Daytona model as seen on T models. Soft springs in the VHB
carbs and it is quite a civilized setup.

The chain inside the twist grip is not too healthy looking. Kinda bent up, seems to pull the cable straight back but when I let up on the twist the cable relaxes against the guide and I guess this is what caused the wear.
