Mike,
Yes your bike is older than mine (mine is A12147). Looks like you will be
taking oldest Loop awards at the Virginia Rally next year.
I corrected the info on my spreadsheet. It will be corrected next time I
send an updated list to Mike.
Regards...Ian

I think you should probably turn your mixture screws out further. Guzziology has a "standard recommendation" for this setting, but I don;t remember exactly what it is... Anyway, that wouldn't explain why your plugs are dark. Ian, I don't seem to have your email address, so I am sending this to the whole list. It is great to be able to see your list of serial numbers on the web. You have my bike listed thusly: A12098 Columbus, OH Mike Jones You have the engine number listed correctly, but I live in Bethlehem, PA - I've never lived in Ohio. If you would like to add more details, the frame number is 14106 and the date of manufacture is Oct. 1969. Does that make your Ambo older then mine? I am hoping to win the oldest Guzzi award next year! Thanks to you and Mike S. for making this info. available! -Mike (69 Ambo) ===== M.Jones, student of philosophy and religion at Temple University, Philadelphia, PA.
