Hiya guys,
A while ago I bought an incomplete 1967 V7 engine 1223 and frame 2587.
Now I am almost the owner of another (almost) complete running one which
I think is a 1967 (it has SS carbs fitted) with engine 3070 and frame
2666.
I think these were both early machines with SS carbs fitted.
My questions are these...
When did Guzzi change from SS29 carbs to VHB29 carbs?
Is their a frame number to use as a change over point?
How many V700 machines were built?
How many were the "early" type with SS carbs?
Do my numbers make sence for SS carbed machines??
My interest is to have an early SS carbed machine with correct numbers
for such a machine.
