Hi Bob,
While maybe not "anywhere", they are pretty widely available. Dennis Kirk, Chaparral and JC Whitney have them, probably MG Cycle also. Get one meant for a motorcycle, the ones for cars usually have a slightly different beam pattern. The "Candlepower" brand was one recommended to me. If you're putting this in your '69 (which should have the deeper headlight bucket like mine) there should be no interference with the fuse panel.

Speaking of fuse panels, I'd recommend that you run a separate dedicated power supply with relays for the headlight, if you don't want to melt either the switch or fuse panel. Mine was melting the fuse position for the headlight even with clean, tight connections and only a 60/55w bulb. The headlight seems a bit brighter now as a side benefit. Cheers,

Charlie

What's the consensus on installing a Halogen Headlight in a Loop? There's one on EBay (7" reflector with the little bulb) now but can one get these doo-dads anywhere? I like the idea of having a light where you can carry a spare bulb in your saddle bag. I currently run with the regular old, big-ass Buick headlight (Sylvania H6024). Thanks, Bob
