Ya know, I never looked into it. I would probably be too scared to run
anything though because that sludge gets packed pretty good to the inside
wall of the crank. I would be scared any treatment would dislodge something
that was perfectly happy living where it was, out of the way and not
causeing any harm, and that something would set up home somewhere it wasn't
supposed to.
I wouldn't be opposed to try something like that on say, ummm, Darrell's
bike..

NO Problem, I comprende. I have my diploma on teh wall!!!!
As a related question, is there some cheap and dirty way out of pulling
the sludge plug? meaning any kind of oil treamtment to dissolve sludge?
Any experience? opinions?
