Scott,
The DF terminal is the top one on your generator.

Subject: wiring mystery
Hi folks.I'm Scott from Grand Marsh,Wis.I'm rebuilding my 1970 Ambassador after blowing the left con rod 9 years ago.My problem is this;the Guzzi shop manual is vague on many points, but the one I can't get past is the wiring hookup for the generator. On the back of the unit are the 2 larger case studs, plus 4 smaller studs,2 on each side of the back cover. One stud is clearly marked D+/51,there are no markings on any of the other studs, including the lone stud on top of the case by the cradle clamp. This is a Marrelli generator. Can anyone enlighten me as to where the DF wire terminal(field on the regulator) is?Many thanks in advance,Scott |
