I spent the weekend in Lake Havasu City, on the Colorado River this
weekend, and I had a visit from the GuzziGuru, B.J. Schwarts.
I asked B.J how the dents happened in the top of the gas tanks. His
reply was the same as Greg's! He said they appear from banging the tank
on the handlebar risers. Then he told me that there three different
styles of hb risers. Straight, semi curved,fully curved. So if you are
building a bike from parts and are changing the risers, make sure that
they have the same arc!!!
