Subject: shock mounts & police sidestand

Getting close to finishing the bike and
have questions on the above.

have been told that the shock mounts are unobtanium.
Any thoughts on replacing them with sufficiently
hard bolts? any idea as to bolt size and thread pitch?

also, I have police bars on it. I remember that someone
said that certain year harley jiffy stands would fit.
Anyone know what I should look for?
