Steve Brenton makes a tool for removing the swingarm pivots and if his others that I've bought are any indication it'll be top quality. MG Cycle sells them for $22 if I remember correctly and you can probably get it direct from Steven also. If time is money for you as it is for me, then it'll be cheaper to buy than make.
Cheaper yet and sometimes workable is to take a spare swingarm spindle and insert two roll pins in the holes. Take two of the jam nuts for the spindle and lock them together tightly on it. Then just insert the "tool" into the spindle you're removing/installing and use a wrench to turn it. Works unless the spindle is rusted in place or otherwise stuck. A little of your favorite penetrant beforehand will help. Hope this helps,
