Yesterday I installed the Panorama Computer/Spedo on my '73 Eldo. There
were a few mounting problems but finally they all worked out. If anyone
is interested, this is what I did:
The sensor should be mounted on the left fender support bracket right
behind the fork, the sensor should be behind the bracket. To help make
it fit snug I used a 1" piece of black PCV pipe slit down it's lenght
and lined it inside with a similar sized piece of heater hose. The
magnet had to be attatched to the rim and I drilled a small hole through
the rim and loctighted the whole thing up. I tried to mount the computer
on the handle bars, but this was too far from the sensor. I wound up
mounting the computer on the left turn signal stem. This combination
seems to work well.
