Matt,
I believe that u-joint can only go in one way. did you get a new
carrier bearing? If so, then it's best to replace the u-joint as you
don't want to be machining it. It is a big cost, but to me it's worth
it for all the trouble you go thru in re-building these beauties.

Ooops. I meant to say that the UJ was sloppy at one end and too big at the other, not the driveshaft. Guess it's a little late! Matt again. |
