One of the most usual spots for metal removal is the bottom of the pin
boss. If you need to know more you can email me off list.
You may want to see if one pin outweighs the other as well. You should
put the heavy pin in the lighter piston .

Rob is having trouble posting, so he asked me to send this to the list: It's been a couple months since I stripped the engine on my Ambo and I'm having trouble remembering some things. Is there supposed to be a gasket on the front main bearing? I didn't get one with my gasket set, and I don't see one in the parts book, but I would like to confirm that with someone who knows. Also, I bought new Gilardoni kits. According to the repair manual, the pistons should be within '1.5 grammes' of eachother. Mine are 3 grams different from eachother. Has anyone run into this? Is there a good place to shave material? I think 3 grams of Aluminum is a 3/8" x 3/8" x 3/8" cube which seems like a lot of material to remove. Any help?
