Hi Dennis,
I remember just going to the hardware store and buying a bunch of packs of rivets. In my "Rivet" drawer there are 1/8" diam. by 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2" lengths (all stainless steel) left over, so that must be what I used. Also bought rivet washers for where I had only fiberglass to fasten into. Seems there were different lengths required for latches vs. hardware, probably why I bought a bunch - so I could experiment.
