Dave,
Very simple. If you can get the shock boss off the rear suspension mount on
the frame you can fashion a compression tool very easily.
You screw the 12 x 1.5 part into the back of the crank. Then on the other
end you get nuts/bolts/washers (I think common 10x1.75 or 12x1.75) to give
you the length you need to get all the parts started. Then using the input
hub to align the plates you slowly compress everything until you can get the
ring gear bolts started. Tighten everything up and you are ready to go.
I did this on my first Ambo and worked the first time.
