Here are some numbers of bikes that were sent to me:
Frame Engine
1045 1072
1076 1248
1133 1148
1080 1117
1597 1842
1780 2171
1690 1979
2009 2333
2261 2543
2773 3194
No pattern here. Likely they put in what was available. It is possible that
the frames were manufactured off site and the company put their own serial
number on it? Who knows.

Ian, are you finding engines with higher numbers than the frames often?
Maybe Guzzi made the frames first, while still doing engine R&D, then
just glommed 'em together all willie-nillie at the factory...
