Jear,
The earliest V700 I have recorded in my records is one with a serial number
VA 05AA. I do not know if that was an official "Moto Guzzi" ID or one that
was assign by a government body. I also have another listed as 70SR2. These
bikes would certainly be 1967 models....possibly built in 1966.
The earliest 4 digit ID's started with 1xxx. I have one listed as 1045
(frame).
What I find interesting about yours is that the engine and frame numbers
match. It was extrememly rare to have the frame and engine numbers match and
yours is the first I have recorded.
The frame numbers were the lower numbers with the engine numbers starting
about 100 - 300 numbers higher.
