Hi David,
The one I was thinking of fits on the throwout bearing itself. I can send you a pic of it's location if needed. MI lists it in their catalog under TRANSMISSION PARTS-General as Standard o-ring: 22mm throwout bearing, part no. 9070 6170 V12 and they also list an Oversized version part no. 9070 6170 0010 (presumably in case the bore is slightly worn).
