I checked the archives for removal tips. Anyone have any new discoveries in the art of blind race removal. Any list member have the #12904700 for rent? |
I know there are other ways, (and some of the bearings nearly fall out),
but I removed mine by making a drift with a piece of 1 inch rigid
electrical conduit turned down in a lathe. A couple of whacks on the
pavement and the bearing popped out. BTW, if there is ANY doubt as to
the integrity of the bearing don't hesitate to buy a NEW one.
