Yup...since the Eldo carbs are mounted directly to the alloy manifolds
w/o the rubber boot, the two gaskets help isolate heat from the carbs.
The bolts that hold the manifolds on should also have little bakelite
washers so the heat doesn't transfer throught the bolts.
