I believe you need a complete hub and brake assembly from a 850T which is a
twin leading shoe instead of the standard single leading shoe found on the
loops. I have a 850T and the rear twin brake is tricky to set up. The are
known to lock up with little effort. I have played with mine and never
have gotten it to brake smooth. I have added a duel disc on the front so I
dont use by rear brake unless I have to. I have seen guys disconnect one
of the twin leading shoe arms and just use it as a single leading shoe.
This seems to reduce the chance of the brake locking

What is involved in adapting a cush drive rear hub to a Loopframe? Do you
need the matching brake plate or will the Loop brake plate fit in the cush
hub? Also, what bike did the cush drive first appear on?
Thanks
