There actually WAS a Chilton written for the loops. I found a copy in a
flea market couple of years ago. My copy is copyrighed 1973 and so it
includes the 700, 750, and 850. The artwork is from the official repair
manual, but the text is written in English and is pretty good.
Here's a great quote from the valve adjustment section:
" Remember, if you can hear the tappets they are probably alright, but
if, after starting the engine, you can't hear them, shut if off
immediately....."
