You're right, the fit has to be pretty accurate. My piece came out so
that it is a moderately tight fit(i.e., a few taps from a small rather
than large hammer is needed to set the thing in place). I'll probably
put some loctite in to forestall any movement, but I doubt that it will
go anywhere, in part because any twisting action of the allens should
tend to hold it more tightly.
The one issue is that there has to be clearance for the oil line running
to the left cylinder head.
Foolishly optimistic, probably, we'll see.
