I must be getting the American �bigger is better�
disease. I love riding my Ambassador, I couldn't be
happier with it. A I keep telling my brother (who is
always hankering for brand new bikes), except for the
brakes they could have stopped inventing new bikes in
�69. BUT, that SP1000 that Mike has on ebay sure has
me thinking... What a great bike. It would be useful
for those two or three times a year when I manage to
take my wife on rides with me: the Ambo is pretty slow
two-up. But that is just not reason enough for me (and
I'd rather her have the pleasure of piloting a bike of
her own).
But $3500 seems cheep for such a nice bike, to me.
Someone sure is going to get a nice machine.
