I bought my first Guzzi in April of 1998 after 20some years of racking
up miles on a variety of Japanese bikes.
In the last 4.7 years I've gathered a few more and today I broke 200k
Guzzi miles on the way to work. Here's the rundown.
1976 raT-3 136,800m
1973 Eldo 40,700m (30,000m was with Velorex 562)
same 73 Eldo driveline in 72 Ambo frame 15,500m
1971 red Ambo put together this spring 5000m
1971 black Ambo bought in Indiana this summer 2000m
I was still riding my 2 SR500s and my CX500 during all this as well.
Plus a few others that have come and gone. Wish I had more than 3 weeks
vacation per year!
Now if I can keep this pace up for the next 23.5 years......
