The Morad rims are polished aluminum just like the Borrani. Personally, I'd rather have aluminum rims that need polishing than chrome rims that rust or flake. Radelli (chrome-plated steel) rims are available - can't remember where from though. I wouldn't mind having aluminum rims without the flange. The Akronts on my Mille GT were much easier to clean than the Borranis and nearly as pretty. Cheers,

Thanks for the SRM post Charlie. I read about them in some magazine. Is the Spanish rim chrome or aluminum finish? In the future I want to go to chrome rims for the ease of cleaning. My preferred tire is the 120 WWW so I would like a slightly wider rim as well. The standard Eldo rim pinches it a bit. David in NYC |
