I was at a hot rod meet and picked up a repo stainless steel tail light
unit for a old ford. They come with a glass lens and are polished
stainless steel. They fit right on the stock guzzi tail light bracket. All
you have to do is drill out the mounting holes 1 size larger. Since the
lens is glass you can run the high watt "bright" bulb and not worry about
melting the lens. I got the cool glass lens that has STOP made in to it.
To bad I could not get one made that said ALTO. Anyway here is a photo of
one on my wife's bike. Not a good shot of the tail light but you get the
idea. They run about 20 bucks. I have also seen them in J.C. Whitney.
Just make sure you get the side that has the clear lens in the bottom for
the license plate.

And you can pop a "Blue Dot" in the center with a clean conscience !

I know it is not original, but I took my faded Eldo tail light lens off to keep it safe, and bought a round trailer light lens to fit right on. Looks the same to me, and took about 60 seconds.
