Is your large tube leaking oil because of the cracks? Or are they just
surface cracks? My immediate thought is that you could 'paint' on
several coats of Plasti-Dip (http://www.plasti-coat.com/) to stop the
leaks. The stuff is very flexible and is impervious to oil and even
battery acid - not sure about gas, though. And the stuff comes in
several colors, red, black, yellow are the ones I know about.

They are metric but the hard part is finding tubing that is
impervious
to oil in that size in metric. I think that Guzziology sez to get
some
fuel line in a standard size - the size I can't remember. Or maybe
you
can find some polyurethane tubing in the correct size. I tried to
find
some tubing to replace the big oil breather hose but to no avail.

not know
for sure that they were metric. That will make choosing the right
size a
lot easier.
One more question as long as I have the tank off I want to change
the
oil breather lines too. I assume they are metric as well?
