This has pretty well got me stumped. On the Eldo, when run hard on the
highway and usually only in hot weather, a small amount of oil appearson the
(white) tank in front of the gas filler ... never very much and I just wipe
it off. However, I can't figure where it is coming from. First I thought it
was steering head bearing lube but now I'm thinking it may come from the
speedo cable. Is it possible for tranny lube to migrate up the cable and
seep out under the speedo? If so, how do I stop it? This is not a big deal,
but when running along mindlessly on the highway this becomes my focus. Any
suggestions?
