I agree with the statement below. And he who said that
when you take an old Guzzi engine apart should have
said that you MAY find some of those problems, in my
experience. I am not mechanic, but have done a fair
bit of wrenching with the help of the factory owners
manual and a copy of The Idiot Book dear to all
air-cooled Volkswagen owners. (It's full of good plain
advice on how to judge worn-out parts and the like.)
Keith, I think you can do it! And you can ask advice
of any friend of yours who has experience wrenching -
guzzi engines are not all that exotic.
