Subject: fork spring question

I just opened up a set of old fork tubes from a 850T and the springs have
yellow paint on the end of them. Does anyone know if this is a color code
for a spring rating ? I plan on installing these in a disc eldo front end.
I did order some new progressive springs but the monkeys in the brown
short suits ( AKA UPS) lost them and can not find them. I spent 3.5 hours
at UPS Friday night waiting for them and no luck. I can not wait anymore
and need to get my bike back together.
