Hey Andy,
I called them a few months ago while trying to find a new mechanic and
they told me they don't work on loops. I was inquiring about the oil
leak between the cases at the time when he told me this, then told me it
would be $1000-$2000 to do that type of work (engine removal) which I
gather is there way of keeping loops away from their shop for
maintenance.

I'm hoping Dave Otis will take on the project of checking her out and repairing WHATEVER he deems necessary! He said he would probably disassemble the motor and go through everything anyway. Been trying to get in touch with him as D-day (decision day on whether or not he would take on Patience) was this past Monday, it all depended on what happened with his job. No answer at his house the past 2 days, so either he is celebrating with his family or he is out searching for a new job. I'm anxious to get the Guzzi out of the garage and into an experienced loopframe mechanics hands for repair, so hard to find a loop mechanic around here. If your ever in the area, give me a shout, would love to meet ya! Same goes for anybody else on this board! Have fun in CA! Keith Ruff 71 Police Ambassador - NJ Arizona Kid wrote:
