i've briefly ridden an original quota & they are actually a very nice bike
to ride. early models are VERY tall however & many ppl would not reach the
ground on them. in fact when you pull away, they rise up at the back & take
my feet off the ground.
i think the concept of huge trail bikes is so good i just bought the BMW
equivilent to the quota: a R100GS PD (paris/dakar) it's fantastic.
thought about a quota, but felt like a change as i have 2 guzzi's* already.
i must be going over to the dark side. not only have i bought a beemer, but
i have to admit i've just taken a 10% deposit on my loop as i don't want 3
bikes & something had to go.

Subject: loop to quota
Question for loopers. Anyone out there ride a quota? I'd like to hear any pros and cons. I saw one today and thought the riding position seemed close to my Eldo. Any opinions would be appreciated. Thanks. ........ Vince |
